My experience entails broad applications in Human Resources Management. Areas of expertise include benefits and compensation and payroll, recruiting both professional and technical, training and development, employee relations, expatriate management, State and Federal regulatory compliance, ISO/TS16949 and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and HRIS management. My most recent efforts involved the complete reorganization of the Human Resources office to ensure compliance with State and Federal mandated laws, HIPAA compliance, while at the same time, creating and updating policies and implementing a new Payroll and HRIS systems.
Previously, I was responsible for managing the full scope of all Human Resources functions and activities. Reported directly to the Vice President of Human Resources. Supervised receptionists and their activities including security. Continuously up-dated policies and procedures, forms, binders and logs where COBRA, FMLA, OSHA and other Federal and State laws were applicable. Held sole responsibility for maintenance of personnel records including all immigration related documents and activities. Organized and managed the annual benefits open enrollment program and wellness program. Coordinated training and development activities. Handled all recruiting efforts, new hire orientation and termination processes. Also ensured ISO/TS16949 and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance within the Human Resources office, ultimately attained certification as an Internal ISO/TS16949 Auditor.
I possess highly developed analytical, intuitive and empathic skills that combine with effective communication skills when working with groups or individuals. My communication skills include fluency in English and Swedish languages. I am a skilled listener and leader with strong flexibility and objectivity.
